What can I do to make the most of my in home massage in Whistler?
What to do Before, During and After your Massage.
BEFORE the mobile massage therapist arrives to set up the portable massage table with linens
* decide on a good location with enough space for the massage to take place (minimum approx. 6ft x 10ft)
* have a shower and/or hot tub if possible – the heat will aid in loosening up tight muscles
* let your therapist know if you have any recent injuries, surgeries or areas of concern to focus on or to avoid
DURING the In-Home massage let your Bodyworker know if you feel any discomfort for any reason or would like the pressure adjusted.
Otherwise, breathe, relax and enjoy!
AFTER the therapist informs you that the massage has ended they will leave the room as you get off the table in your own time. Then they will pack up and take payment.
* drink plenty of water to flush toxins that have been released and stay hydrated
* stretch
* if possible, take a bath with Epsom Salts or a Hot Tub
* get regular massage – people who get regular massages report better results than people who get massaged only when they absolutely have to.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation/Late Policy:
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
- 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
- If you are unable to give your therapist a reasonable time of advance notice you will be charged 50% for your missed appointment.
- No-shows Anyone who either forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact, will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged the full amount for their “missed” appointment.
- Arriving late Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, however, we will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time.
We forward to seeing you!
